Berlin-based generative engine optimization agency GetCited found 86% of AI answers to product-comparison questions cited at least one commercially disclosed source, in an analysis of 106,758 citations across ChatGPT, Google AI Overview and Perplexity, per PPC Land. Affiliate disclosures appeared on 21.4% of the English-language citations, and TechRadar, Forbes Advisor and PCMag drew the most citations of any publisher in the dataset.
