Google is testing a "Loading..." label on the button beneath some AI Overviews that currently reads "Show more," per Search Engine Roundtable. Sachin Patel and Khushal Bherwani spotted the test on X; Search Engine Roundtable's Barry Schwartz could not reproduce it and Google has not confirmed the change. Earlier in 2026 Google tested an "Enter AI Mode" label on the same button, which did not stick.
