Bing Webmaster Tools has added Topics Portfolio, a beta view in its AI Performance report that groups a site's AI Search citations into thematic clusters rather than individual queries, per Bing Blogs. Each topic lists Topic Size (approximate total citations across all sites, a demand signal), Sites Cited (competing sites) and Queries; topic pages separate a site's own "grounding queries" from "Opportunity Queries," where competitors are cited and the site is not. Microsoft says the beta appears only for sites with "sufficient data" and names no threshold, so smaller sites may see little or nothing. It extends the AI Performance report Bing began building out in June with Intents, Topics, Citation Share and Compare.

Why it matters: Bing is pushing AI-search measurement from single-query tracking toward portfolio-level content strategy, the same shift Google's Search Console and Merchant Center AI Performance reports have made this year.

## What this answers

**What does Topics Portfolio show in Bing Webmaster Tools?**

It groups a site's AI Search citations into thematic topic clusters, each scored by Topic Size (total citations across all sites), Sites Cited (competing sites) and Queries — plus Opportunity Queries, where rival sites are cited and yours is not.

**Is Topics Portfolio available to everyone in Bing Webmaster Tools?**

It's in beta and Microsoft says it only appears for sites with "sufficient data," so smaller sites may see limited results or none.
