Google Search is showing a "Fan POV" button on some sports queries, such as [world series], per Search Engine Roundtable. Clicking it opens a dialog where a searcher picks options such as the game number and a fan's point of view, and "Ask now" opens AI Mode with that request. SEO analyst Mordy Oberstein spotted it; Google has not announced it, and the report does not say how widely it is shown.

Why it matters: Google is using a button on a live-event query to hand searchers into AI Mode with a personalized prompt, a new way a classic results page routes traffic into AI answers.
