BrightEdge: Reddit's AI citation surge has plateaued at a higher baseline
Reddit’s tracked search footprint expanded roughly 33x between June 2025 and February 2026, and its AI citations grew about 84% between February and July, before settling into a plateau several times higher than a year ago, according to a BrightEdge analysis using its AI Hyper Cube, Data Cube X, and Expert Services datasets. Google AI Overviews accounts for roughly 88% of Reddit’s citation volume in the data, and BrightEdge found Reddit’s organic top-10 rankings up about 30% against a July 2025 baseline.
