Google moves AI Overviews above stock ticker charts
Google is now placing an AI Overview above the stock-price chart widget for ticker queries like [GOOG stock] or [MSFT stock], per Search Engine Roundtable, which replicated the placement itself after a reader flagged it on X. The move reverses a June 2026 sighting where the AI Overview had run below the chart for the same query type; Search Engine Roundtable said the overview largely repeats data the chart widget already shows.
