Profound splits YouTube citations by channel and video
Profound added a YouTube Citation Breakdown to its Answer Engine Insights product on August 19, showing which channels, individual videos, and video categories AI engines cite, per the company’s announcement. The feature is available immediately to all Profound customers, turning what had been raw YouTube links into channel-level citation-share rankings with per-video and per-category detail.
Why it matters: AI engines cite YouTube heavily but tools have mostly treated those citations as flat links; splitting them out by channel and format gives brands a first look at which creators actually shape AI answers.
