Profound raises $180M to build an AI marketing platform
Profound has raised $180 million to build what CEO James Cadwallader calls “the AI platform for marketing,” according to a post on the company’s blog. Cadwallader writes that AI is creating more work for marketers, and that the company’s AI Marketer product aims to combine company context with agents to help handle it. A companion feature, Command Center, gives marketing leaders a single view of how their team uses Profound’s marketing agents, the hours that work returns, and how adoption compares against peers.
Why it matters: It's new capital for one of the measurement vendors this wire cites most often for AI-citation and brand-visibility data, going toward agent tooling for marketers rather than more measurement itself.
