Google tests AI Mode button on the search results page

Google is testing an AI Mode button inside the search bar on its results page, not just the homepage, per Search Engine Roundtable. Barry Schwartz said he could replicate the test but it doesn’t appear for every query, and Google has not confirmed it.

Why it matters: Another entry point into AI Mode inside the results page itself would shorten the path from a normal search to an AI Mode session, on top of surfaces where AI Mode is already reachable.
